With multifunctional capabilities akin to the MultiPlus, the Quattro serves as both an inverter and charger. Notably, it accommodates two AC inputs, seamlessly connecting to the active source automatically. Its feature-rich design includes a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, and hybrid PowerAssist technology. The Quattro excels in multiple system integration aspects, offering options such as three or split-phase operation and parallel operation.
Equipped with two AC inputs and outputs, the Quattro allows connection to independent sources like shore-side power and a generator, or even two generators. The automatic connection to the active source ensures uninterrupted power supply. In case of a grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power, the Quattro swiftly takes over to sustain power to connected loads, with a seamless transition in less than 20 milliseconds. The second output operates only when AC is available on one of the Quattro's inputs, catering to loads like air-conditioning or water heaters that shouldn't discharge the battery.
A distinctive feature, PowerAssist, prevents overloading of limited AC sources, such as generators or shore power connections. It intelligently adjusts battery charging to avoid overloads and, if needed, supplements the output of a generator or shore-side supply with power drawn from the battery.
For enhanced power capabilities, the Quattro supports parallel operation, allowing up to 6 units to work together for higher power output. Furthermore, it facilitates three-phase or split-phase operation, offering flexibility based on specific requirements. Detailed information on paralleling, three-phase, and split-phase capabilities can be found in the product datasheets.
