Centaur Charger
Uncompromising Quality: Crafted with precision, the Centaur Charger features aluminum epoxy powder-coated cases with a built-in drip shield and stainless steel fixings, ensuring resilience in challenging environments marked by heat, humidity, and salt air. The circuit boards receive an extra layer of protection through an acrylic coating, providing maximum resistance against corrosion. Temperature sensors play a crucial role in maintaining optimal performance, automatically adjusting output current in extreme environmental conditions.
Versatile Power Input: The Centaur Charger boasts a universal 90-265V AC input voltage range, accommodating both AC and DC supplies (AC-DC and DC-DC operation). Operating seamlessly across 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequencies, all models effortlessly handle input voltages ranging from 90 to 265 volts. Additionally, these chargers are designed to accept a 90-400 V DC power supply.
Triple Output Efficiency: Featuring three outputs, each capable of supplying the full rated current, the Centaur Charger excels in simultaneously charging three battery banks. With each output delivering the maximum rated current, it ensures efficient and reliable power distribution.
Intelligent Three-Stage Charging: The Centaur Charger employs a three-stage charging process with temperature compensation. Initially, it charges at a bulk rate until the output decreases to 70% of the rated Amps. Following this, a 4-hour timer initiates, transitioning the charger to a float rate. An internal temperature sensor dynamically adjusts the charge voltage, compensating at -2 mV/ºC (-1 mV/ºF) per cell. For optimal charging tailored to battery types, a DIP switch is provided to select the ideal charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-acid, Gel, or AGM batteries.
