Advanced Durability: Designed for rugged environments, the Blue Smart IP67 Charger boasts complete encapsulation, rendering it waterproof, shockproof, and ignition-protected. Crafted with a cast aluminum casing and resin-molded electronics, it resists damage from water, oil, or dirt.
Unprecedented Efficiency: Setting a new industry benchmark, this charger achieves an impressive efficiency of 92% or better, significantly minimizing heat waste—three to four times less than conventional chargers. Post full battery charge, power consumption drops to less than a Watt, surpassing industry standards by five to ten times.
Adaptive 5-Stage Charge Algorithm: Featuring a microprocessor-controlled 'adaptive' battery management system, the charger optimizes the charging process dynamically based on the battery's usage patterns. The 5-stage algorithm encompasses bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage modes.
Storage Mode for Battery Longevity: The Storage Mode, activated after 24 hours of no discharge, reduces the float voltage to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery). This minimizes gassing and corrosion, and weekly voltage adjustments prevent stratification of the electrolyte and sulphation, mitigating early battery failure.
Li-Ion Battery Compatibility: The Blue Smart Charger extends its versatility by effectively charging Li-ion batteries using a simple bulk-absorption-float algorithm.
Recovery and Protection Features: Initiating charging even from a fully discharged battery, the charger is resilient against overheating. In high-temperature environments, output current reduces as the temperature rises, up to 60°C, ensuring sustained performance without failure.
Status Indication LEDs: Two LEDs provide clear status indications:
- Yellow LED: Blinking fast for bulk charge, blinking slow for absorption, solid for float, and off for storage.
- Green LED: Illuminated to signify power-on status.
