Restocking Fee and Freight/Shipping Charges:

- If the product was shipped with Build the Power's Free Freight Policy, the customer will pay original freight out, return freight, and the restocking fee.

- Call Tech Support and Returns at (507) 636-3614 to receive an RA (Return Authorization) number.
- All returns must have an RA number for processing.
- Provide the customer service representative with:
- Serial Number of the product(s)
- Order number for the product(s)

Returns Resulting from Build the Power Products Error:
- No restocking fee.
- Build the Power will issue a call tag to have the item picked up, and Build the Power will pay the return freight.
- The freight company will make 3 attempts to pick up the item. After 3 attempts, it becomes the responsibility of the customer to ship the item to Build the Power at their cost.
Returns Not Resulting from Build the Power Products Error:
- Customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
- Customer pays return freight both ways.
Order Cancellation After Shipment:
- Build the Power standard return policy applies with a 20% restocking fee and freight both ways.
- Accept delivery, obtain an RA number, and ship the item(s) to Build the Power at the provided address.
Refused Delivery:
- Build the Power will assess a 20% restocking fee.
- Customer pays freight both ways.
Item Damaged During Shipment:
- The customer should call the Build the Power Shipping Department and file a Freight Damage Claim within 3 business days of receipt.
- All shipments must be checked for shortages. Discrepancies must be noted on the delivery receipt and signed as "short" and then reported to the Build the Power Shipping Department.
- If not reported within the time limits, the customer pays return freight.
Pilot Navigator Returns:
- All sales are final.
- Custom-built products are not eligible for return.

- During the contract period specific parts costs are covered under warranty, these parts and time periods are specified in the owner's manual
- After parts warranty has expired there charges for any additional parts needed.

- The closest technician will be contacted and given a work order to complete the repairs
- Field service jobs are typically set up in 24-48 hours of initial request
- The customer is contacted within 24hrs of the job being set-up to advise them who will be calling to schedule a home visit.
- If there is no technician in the area one will be recruited. This process can take up to 5-7 business days depending on the location.
- Upon receipt of parts the technician will contact the customer to set-up an appointment that.

Build the Power honours mobility scooter and power wheelchair warranty. Build the Power warrants to the original purchaser of this wheelchair product that it is free of defect in material and workmanship and that, when operated within the guidelines and restrictions of this manual, will remain so free of defect in material and workmanship for a period of One (1) year from the original date of purchase.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Build the Power is not liable for any failures of equipment resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, commercial use or anyone unauthorized person attempted to repair. Work performed by an unauthorized person results in a termination of the warranty. For a complete overview of your warranty by Build the Power please read your user manual that came with your mobility product.
Excluded from this warranty is failure due to negligence, abuse, accident, operation outside of rated limits, commercial or institutional use, damage / wear to upholstery or tires and improper maintenance or storage. the batteries for this wheelchair product are not supplied by corporation, contact the battery manufacturer / supplier if warranty replacement is requested.
This wheelchair product must not be modified in any way without the express written consent of Build the Power. Any such unauthorized modification could cause unreliable and / or unsafe operation and will void this warranty. Where a failure occurs within the 1- year warranty period that is not excluded above, the failed components will be replaced with similar new or reconditioned components at sole option. Build the Power will not be responsible for labour and / or shipping charges. The foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including, but not limited to, the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Build the Power will not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever.
