    Shipping Policy

    Shipping is available in United States and territories and Mexico (select locations). Shipping to Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Mexico (select locations) may incur additional shipping time and costs.If you need to place an order for any of these or other locations, please contact us at sales@buildthepower.com during business hours (PST).

    Shipments will only take place Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Please refer to the dates and shipping rates listed during checkout for your expected shipment and delivery dates as well as any delivery charges.

    • Standard Ground Shipments will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days of receiving the order.
    • Express Shipments placed AFTER 1PM will be shipped the following business day.
    • Express orders count business days ONLY and do not include Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays in the delivery time.
    • Parts do not ship on weekends and holidays.

    Warranty Qualifications

    To register your product for warranty and FREE lifetime call center technical support, please visit our product registration page.

    To complete the registration, you will need to include a copy of the purchase receipt as proof of original purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service. Please register within ten (10) days from the date of purchase.

    Repair/Replacement Warranty

    CPE warrants to the orginial purchaser that the mechanical and electrical components will be free of defects in material workmanship for a period of three years (parts and labor) from the original date of purchase and 270 days (parts and labor) for commercial and industrial use. Transportation charges on product submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

    Do Not Return the Unit to the Place of Purchase

    Contact CPE's Technical Service and CPE will troubleshoot any issue via phone or email. If the problem is not corrected by this method, CPE will, as its option, authorize evaluation, repair, or replacement of the defective part or component at a CPE Service Center. CPE will provide you with a case number for warranty service. Please keep it for future reference. Repairs or replacements without prior authorization, or at an unauthorized repaired facility, will not be covered by this warranty.

    Warranty Exclusions

    This warranty does not cover the following repairs and equipment.

    Normal Wear

    Products with mechanical and electrical components need periodic parts and service to perform well. This warranty does not cover repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part of the equipment as a whole.

    Installation, Use, and Maintenance

    This warranty will not apply to parts and/or labor if the product is deemed to have been misused, neglected, involved in an accident, abused, loaded beyond the product's limits, modified, installed improperly, or connected incorrectly to any electrical component. Normal maintenance is not covered by this warranty and is not required to be performed at a facility or by a person authorized by CPE.

    Other Exclusions

    This warranty excludes:

    • Cosmetic defects such as paint, decals, etc.
    • Wear items such as a filter elements, o-rings, etc.
    • Accessory parts such as starting batteries and storage covers.
    • Failures due to acts of God and other force majeure events beyond the manufacturer's control.
    • Problems caused by parts that are not original Champion Power Equipment parts.

    When applicable, this warranty does not apply to products used for prime power in place of a utility.

    Limits of Implied Warranty and Consequential Damage

    Build The Power disclaims any obligation to cover any loss of time, use of this product, freight, or any incidental or consequential claim by anyone from using this product. THIS WARRANTY AND THE ATTACHED U.S. EPA, CARB and/or ECCC EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM WARRANTIES (WHEN APPLICABLE) ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

    A unit provided as an exchange will be subject to the warranty of the original unit. The length of the warranty governing the exchanged unit will remain calculated by reference to the purchase date of the original unit.

    This warranty gives you certain legal rights which may change from to state to state or province to province. Your state or province may also have other rights you may be entitled to that are not listed within this warranty.

    Return Policy

    Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

    RETURNS

    All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

    RETURN PROCESS

    To return an item, please email customer service at sales@buildthepower.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and Full Name and Order No., and mail your return to the following address:

    You may also use the prepaid shipping label enclosed with your package. Return shipping charges will be paid or reimbursed by us.


    Refund Policy

    After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

    Please Note

    • We reserve the right to optionally extend the processing time beyond fourteen (14) days due to high order volume, severe weather or other force majeure event.
