The OutBack Integrated Battery Rack system is a cutting-edge battery enclosure that streamlines the installation process by incorporating all necessary components, such as cell interconnects, cabling, series string overcurrent protection, and disconnects. This comprehensive system arrives fully assembled from the factory, with the exception of the batteries, which can be swiftly added and connected on-site. This unique design makes it remarkably easy to specify, order, and install.
Distinguishing itself from conventional steel racks or sheet-metal enclosures, the OutBack design is meticulously crafted from powder-coated aluminum. This not only results in a sleeker appearance but also ensures durability in even the most challenging environments, all while maintaining a weight of less than 90 pounds. The 2-shelf IBR-2 is specifically sized to fit beneath an OutBack Radian inverter/charger, minimizing system component clutter and optimizing installation space. Clear covers on the racks facilitate visual inspection of internal components while providing an additional layer of protection.
